Klaviyo Email Marketing Agency for DTC Brands

Hey Frankie is a Klaviyo email and SMS agency for ecommerce brands that want a partner to run the whole program. We build and run the flows, write and send the campaigns, redesign the emails, and fix deliverability, so email stops being the channel nobody owns. At Toups & Co, email produces 55% of revenue. At Hotel Collection, it carried a large share of the climb from $5M to $33M in under 12 months.

What we actually do in Klaviyo

If your email program is a welcome series, an abandoned cart flow and whatever campaigns got sent last week, you are leaving money in the inbox. Most brands we audit are. If you want the audit before you commit to anything, it is sold on its own. Here is what we do about it.

Flows, built or rebuilt

Welcome, abandoned cart, abandoned checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, VIP, replenishment where the product supports it. Every flow gets a timing test and a content test in the first 60 days, because the default Klaviyo timing is wrong for most brands. At Toups & Co, email is 55% of revenue.

Campaigns people open on purpose

A calendar built around your margin, your inventory and your promo cadence, not around "send Tuesday and Thursday". We write the copy, design the email, pick the segment and test the subject line. The goal is revenue per send, not open rate.

Segmentation that changes what people receive

Engaged buyers, lapsed buyers, high AOV, product affinity, discount sensitivity. Different people get different emails. This is the part most agencies set up once and never touch.

Deliverability, repaired and kept

Authentication, sending domain warmup, list hygiene, sunset policies, Gmail and Yahoo sender requirements. We wrote a 7,000-word email deliverability checklist for ecommerce because this is where email programs quietly die.

SMS as part of the same program

Texts go to people who asked for them, at moments that make sense next to the email, with compliance handled. SMS is not a separate channel with its own agency; it is the second lane of the same road.

List growth that does not wreck your list

Pop-ups, offers and capture timing tuned so the people who sign up are people who buy.

From the deliverability checklist

  • Understanding deliverability scores
  • Setting up DMARC records
  • Auditing contact lists
  • Automation filter cleanup
  • What to do when deliverability tanks

Design that sells

Our designers redesign emails from brands like Hydro Flask, Veja and SKIMS for practice. You can see 20 of them in the Ultimate Email Redesign Library. Your emails get the same treatment: a clear offer, one job per email, and a layout that works on a phone.

What working with us looks like

You get a senior strategist who owns your email program and a designer and copywriter who work on it every week. The first month is an audit and the rebuild of whatever is costing you the most. From there it is a steady rhythm: campaigns on a calendar built around your margin and inventory, tests that change what we send next, a report you can read in five minutes, and a direct line when something moves. No interns, no account managers in the middle.

Who this is for

  • Ecommerce brands that want one partner to run email and SMS end to end, not a freelancer per flow.
  • Brands where email is under 20% of revenue and should be higher.
  • Brands that also want paid social and paid search run by the same team so the channels stop fighting each other.
  • Owners and marketing leads who want to talk to the person doing the work.

Who it is not for

  • Brands under $1M a year. Start with the redesign library and the deliverability checklist; come back when the list can carry the work.
  • Agencies, freelancers and designers looking for white-label help.
  • Anyone who wants a dashboard and no conversation.

How we price it

A flat monthly retainer, scoped to your list size, send volume and whether SMS and paid are in the program. We give you the number on the first call, not after a proposal cycle, and it does not change when your revenue does.

Questions we get asked

What does a Klaviyo agency actually do that I cannot do in-house?

The same things, done by people who have run email for dozens of brands and have seen what works at $5M and at $30M. An in-house marketer can build a flow. The difference is knowing which flow to build first, what timing to test, and what a good number looks like for your category. You are buying pattern recognition and senior attention, not button-clicking.

How much does a Klaviyo agency cost?

Across the market, between $2,000 and $10,000 a month depending on list size and scope. Below $2,000 you are usually getting a template and a junior sender. Above $10,000 you are usually paying for a large agency's overhead. We quote a flat retainer on the first call once we know your list and your goals.

Are you a Klaviyo partner?

Yes. Hey Frankie is listed in the Klaviyo Partner Directory. The badge matters less than the work; ask any agency for three before-and-after revenue numbers before you ask about their badge.

How long until email revenue moves?

Flow rebuilds show in 30 to 45 days because flows run every day. Campaign improvements show by the second month. Deliverability repair can take 60 to 90 days if the domain is damaged. Expect the first clear read at day 90.

Do you also do SMS?

Yes, inside the same program, on Klaviyo SMS. We do not run SMS as a separate retainer because the two channels need one calendar and one set of segments.

What if we are on Mailchimp or Omnisend?

We migrate you to Klaviyo as part of onboarding. Most brands at your size are already there. If you have a reason to stay on another platform, say so on the call and we will tell you whether the economics still work.

Do you redesign our existing emails or start from scratch?

Both, depending on what the audit finds. Usually the templates get rebuilt once and the campaigns are designed fresh each send. See the Ultimate Email Redesign Library for what a rebuild looks like.
